Nature trail is open after 7:00 a.m. until
dark.
Guided tours are by appointment.
After crossing a short boardwalk across the wetlands,
the half-mile sandy nature trail wanders under towering trees through native
plant and animal habitats, providing a glimpse of the natural Florida frontier.
Trail clearing, plant identification
and stakes, trail map, and site map are volunteer contributions by organizations and individuals. For more information
about the nature trail, and volunteer opportunities, contact the
North Area Parks Operations office: 321-264-5105
Hurricane Recovery: The trail is clear, however cleared debris is piled alongside the trail in several places and many identification markers have been damaged. Volunteer assistance is invited to fully restore the trail. Contact the North Area Office at 321-264-5105
