Memorial Park
8195 King St (Hwy 520), Cocoa
FROM the I-95 Exit-201, go west 5 miles on SR-520. The park is
located along the St. Johns River next to Lone Cabbage Fish Camp.
Boat ramps open 24 hours a day.
A gateway to excellent bass fishing on the St. Johns River, this
194.54-acre community river park provides a staging area for
many fishing tournaments. Facilities include a boat ramp and
dock, restrooms, a pavilion barbecue grill, and parking for 115
cars and boat trailers. It features additional facilities across
the highway at the 31.65-acre Leroy Wright Recreation Area.
WATCHABLE WILDLIFE: Listed in State of
Florida Great Florida Birding Trail-Green and Great Blue Heron,
Wood Stork, Migratory
Duck, Shorebirds such as Black-necked Stilt; occasionally Limpkin,
Crested Caracara, Snail Kite. Also, Raccoon, Alligator

events, and indoor basketball, this 3.2-acre park has a Community
Center with a

This 3.45-acre neighborhood park was built by the City of Cocoa in 1998. Brevard County Parks and Recreation began operation and maintenance in September 2006. Park amenities include tennis courts, full basketball court, volleyball court, playground, medium pavilion, and restrooms.

Wenner Park
300 Riveredge Boulevard, Cocoa
FROM US Hwy 1 at SR-520, go east .5 miles and turn right onto
Riveredge Drive. The park is on the Indian River at the southwest
side of the Hubert Humphrey bridge.
Boat ramps open 24 hours a day.
This 11.55-acre community river park is a popular boat launch
site. Along with the boat ramps, several other amenities make
it an attractive recreational area. A pavilion, grills, picnic
tables, restrooms, playground, and benches are connected by a
paved walkway, while a boardwalk adjacent to the boat docks extends
to Cocoa Riverfront Park and Historic Cocoa Village. The pier
and a t-shaped dock are ideal for leisurely fishing. The Coast
Guard Auxiliary Building features Boating Safety Classes and
has a meeting room available for rental.

Wright Recreation Area

FROM I-95 take the SR-520 Exit-201 west 4.9 miles. The park is
on the right.
Boat ramps open 24 hours a day.
Situated along the flood plain of the St. Johns River at the
north side of James G. Bourbeau Memorial Park, this 32.65-acre
recreation area features a paved ramp and paved parking for 21
cars and 31 boat trailers. Picnic tables, 2 grills and benches
offer added convenience.
WATCHABLE WILDLIFE: Green Heron, Great
Blue Heron, Limpkins, Great Egret, Raccoon, Alligator

FROM US Hwy 1 at SR-520, go north 2.6 miles on US Hwy 1. Turn
right on Coquina Drive and go 0.3 miles, turn right on Indian
River Drive and go 0.1 miles to the park.
Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark.
At the east end of Coquina Drive on the Indian River in north
Cocoa, this 1.03-acre community river park provides convenient
neighborhood riverfront access. The park is well shaded and includes
a ramp for launching small boats, parking space, fishing dock,
bench, and sheltered picnic table.
