FROM SR-520, go north 6.1 miles on US Hwy 1. The park entrance
is on the left opposite the intersection with Indian Trail (across the highway from Fairglen Elementary School),
and 0.4 mile north of Canaveral Groves Blvd.
FROM SR-50, go south on 8.6 miles on US Hwy 1. The park is

Walter Butler
Community Center
The 21.6 acre Bernice G. Jackson Park features the 18,000 sq. ft. Walter Butler Community Center with a gymnasium, banquet kitchen,
large meeting room with divider, computer lab, 2 gamerooms, 1 small meeting room, and two sets of restrooms
(one with showers). The center also serves as a hurricane shelter.
The Community Center programs include drop-in and scheduled activities for children & adults, including homework assistance for students. Call for schedule, 321.433.4448

The gymnasium, meeting room, and kitchen are available for rental on weekends when not in conflict with scheduled County-sponsored activities.

is located between Blanton and Main Street.

Well shaded by palm, oak and ornamental trees,
this 1.74-acre park is popular for basketball and leisure gatherings
at the pavilion with 2 grills and restrooms. Other amenities include
a picnic shelter, playground, drinking fountain, and benches.

Blue Hole Park

SR-50, the park is on the right.

A .46-acre neighborhood park with a quaint
small town atmosphere. Situated around a freshwater pond with
trees shading the picnic tables and grills, the setting is ideal
for leisurely get-togethers.

FROM I-95, take SR-46 Exit 223 toward
Mims, and go east on W. Main Street (FL-46) 1.5 miles. Turn RIGHT
onto US Hwy 1, go 1.5 miles then left on Jay Jay Road. The entrance
to Snowy Egret Drive is on the right.
FROM US Hwy 1, turn east onto E. Jay Jay Rd (.3 miles north of
Dairy Rd or .5 miles south of Parrish Rd). The entrance to Snowy
Egret Drive is on the right.
Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark.
Located near Brevard Community College and
the Indian River, this 92.14 acre regional park features wetlands
and lakes with walking bridges connected to 3-miles of paved walking trails.
Facilities include a birdwatching tower, 8 lighted soccer fields
and concession, 3 lighted youth softball fields and concession,
4 lighted adult softball fields and concession, restrooms and
parking. Other Referendum Project elements are under development.

right on Cuyler Street and go 0.2 miles. Turn left on Harry T.
Moore Avenue and go 0.2 miles to the park.

A neighborhood gathering place since 1913,
the Community Center was built with Community Development Block
Grant funding in 1989 to house a gymnasium, activity room, Learning
Center, and a Child Care Association program; with the Annex community
room added in 1995. On the grounds are active sport facilities
and a shaded area with a playground, benches, 2 pavilions with
grills. An additional 1.45 acres of land was acquired in 2001
through the North Brevard Parks Referendum increasing the park
