Unless designated otherwise, Brevard County Parks open after 7:00 a.m. and close at dark.

Parks with Community Centers and Athletic Facilities are open after dark for scheduled activities. Operating hours for Community Centers and Nature Centers may be obtained by contacting the specific facility.

Boat Ramps are open 24 hours a day.

Fay Lake Wilderness Park

6300 Fay Boulevard, Port St John
LOCATED west of I-95 at the end of Fay Boulevard.

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use.

At the west end of Fay Boulevard, this 192.7-acre community park offers access to a 27-acre fishing lake. Facilities include a playground, pavilion, and launch area for small boats.

WATCHABLE WILDLIFE: Migratory Songbirds, Waders, Swallow, Moorhen, Deer, Turtle

Fay Park

6315 Depot Road, Port St John
FROM US Hwy 1, go west on Fay Boulevard 2.1 miles, the park is accessed from Depot Road.

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use. Tennis Courts open 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

A center of activity, this 11.1-acre park features family picnic shelters with grills near a playground and restrooms. Home of Port St. John Little League Girls’ Fastpitch and Port St. John Women’s Softball, department sponsored adult softball leagues are also scheduled. Athletic facilities include a concession building, basketball court, tennis and racquetball courts.

Fox Lake Park

4400 Fox Lake Road, Titusville
Parks Referendum Project  
FROM SR-50 AT SR-405, go north 2.1 miles on SR-405, turn left and go 1.4 miles to the end of Fox Lake Road (west of I-95).

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use.

A popular regional park in North Brevard, this 31.57-acre scenic getaway is ideal for large community events. A paved road loops through the many palm and ornamental trees. Facilities include 5 family picnic shelters, grills, sand volleyball court, a fishing dock and a boat ramp (with access to South Lake from Fox Lake, and numerous channels to explore by canoe/kayak). 2 mid-sized pavilions and a large pavilion seating up to 1000 with kitchen and stage are available for rental.

WATCHABLE WILDLIFE: Listed in State of Florida Great Florida Birding Trail—Water and Wading Birds (Coot, Snowy Egret, Green Heron, Anhingas), Migratory Songbirds. Ocassionally—Swallow-tailed Kites, Limpkin, Roseate Spoonbill, Sandhill Crane

Friendship Park

1055 Barclay Drive, Port St John
FROM US Hwy 1, go west onto Fay Boulevard, go 0.1 miles and turn right on Espanol Avenue. Go 0.3 miles (the road becomes Barclay).

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark.

Shaded by palm and pine trees, this .96-acre neighborhood park includes playground equipment and a park bench.

Gibson Complex and Field

835 Sycamore Street, Titusville
Parks Referendum Project
FROM Garden Street, go south on Hopkins Avenue 1.3 miles, turn right and go 0.3 miles on Sycamore Street.

Gym open for activities scheduled by Police Athletic League (PAL). Fields open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use.

This 32.64-acre community park includes a gymnasium and community facility. The community facility serves groups such as Child Care Association, Boys & Girls Club of Brevard, Brevard Alzheimer’s Foundation, Progressive Action Society, and Titusville Area Model Railroad Club (TAMRC). The gymnasium serves year-round as a site for youth and adult basketball, indoor active games and drop-in recreation. Outdoor fields are home for the North Brevard Bears Youth Football & Cheerleading Club. Parks Referendum Project field renovations are include 2 football fields, lighting and concession.
