Unless designated otherwise, Brevard County Parks open after 7:00 a.m. and close at dark.

Parks with Community Centers and Athletic Facilities are open after dark for scheduled activities. Operating hours for Community Centers and Nature Centers may be obtained by contacting the specific facility.

Boat Ramps are open 24 hours a day.

Fishermans Landing

5795 S US Highway 1, Grant-Valkaria
FROM US-192 (Melbourne Cswy), go south 11 miles on US Hwy 1, entrance is on the left.

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use.

Featuring the Grant Historical House, this scenic 7.48-acre community river park is a perfect wayside stop for travelers and a convenient site for community events. The shaded pavilion and 2 grills with restrooms nearby, path and boardwalk invite picnics and leisurely strolls. The fishing deck accommodates fishing, and may be used by boaters to access the restrooms and picnic area. Although motorized boat launching is not permitted, hand-carried canoes and kayaks may put-in from the north parking area. For Grant Historical House information call 321-723-8543.

Flutie Athletic Complex

FROM US-192 (Melbourne Cswy), go south on Miramir Ave/SR-A1A 1.0 miles, road becomes Oak Street/SR-A1A. Continue 0.9 miles through light at Ocean Ave. Park is on the left.

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use.

Catching the sea breezes, this 29-acre community park is an athletic complex and home of two youth athletic organizations: South Beaches Little League and Melbourne Beach Soccer Club. Facilities include a medium pavilion, playground, benches, tennis courts, soccer fields, Little League fields, a restroom/concession facility and a restroom/concession with meeting room. Construction and renovations are currently underway through the Parks Referendum Project. Click on the link above for project information.

Howard E. Futch Memorial Park

FROM US Hwy 1 go east 3.3 miles across the Eau Gallie Cswy (SR-518), turn right on SR-A1A and go 1.1 miles to the park.

Open after 7:00 a.m. until dark, except for scheduled use.

This 12.39-acre regional beach park is a popular site for group activities. It features 3 dune crossovers, seasonal lifeguards, and volleyball courts. Picnic facilities include a large pavilion with seating for up to 200, grills, and 2 medium pavilions. Restrooms, park benches, and outside showers provide convenience. Parks Referendum Project renovations included dune revegetation, dune crossover replacement, and playground.
